Statement re Share Price Movement 

The Company notes the recent movement in its share price and wishes to confirm that it is not aware of any information relating to the Company that would lead to such a movement in the price of its ordinary shares. 

On 12 August 2009 the Company announced as part of a corporate and trading update that it was reviewing various alternatives with respect to its mining assets in Namibia which could include divestiture, development or bringing mines back into production. Discussions are continuing with a number of parties which have expressed an interest in acquiring the Company's assets however no firm proposals have so far been received.
