Comment re Share Price Movement

Rose Petroleum plc, the AIM-listed (AIM: ROSE) natural resources company, notes the significant rise in its share price since Monday. The Company continues to investigate various opportunities across different sectors and geographies to provide additional projects alongside its existing hydrocarbon and metals activities and the funding of those, as well as reviewing its current asset base, but no negotiations have been concluded at this time. There can be no guarantee that any of these matters will proceed and further announcements will be made as necessary. The Company also notes the recent increase in crude oil prices, but otherwise is unaware of any reason for its recent share price movement.
