Avanti Screenmedia Group PLC02 January 2008 2 January 2008 Avanti Screenmedia Group plc Suspension of Dealing in Shares pending publication of Report and Accounts Avanti Screenmedia Group plc ("Avanti" or the "Company") made its preliminaryannouncement of results for the year to 30 June 2007 on 6 December 2007 (the"Preliminary Announcement"). The accounting period included the demerger of theAvanti Communications business in April 2007. Completion of the Audited Reportand Accounts, including details of the demerger, are in final form and areentirely consistent with the Preliminary Announcement. However, it has not been possible to complete the review and publication of theReport and Accounts before 31 December 2007 in accordance with Rule 19 of theAIM Rules. As a result dealings in the Company's shares have been suspendedpending publication of the Report and Accounts, which is expected by not laterthan Friday 4 January 2008.
