Disclosure of Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC ("Morrisons") securities in issue pursuant to Rule 2.9.

In accordance with Rule 2.9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Code"), Morrisons confirms that, as at 15 September 2021, it has in issue 2,419,450,753 ordinary shares of 10 pence each. Morrisons does not hold any shares in treasury.

The increase in the number of ordinary shares results from the issue of 10,586 ordinary shares in connection with an allotment of shares under the Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC Sharesave Scheme.
