Eureka Mining PLC20 December 2006 Eureka Mining Plc ("Eureka" or the "Company") Result of Court Hearing Further to Eureka's announcement of 7 November 2006 and following the CourtHearing held earlier today, Eureka is pleased to announce that the Court hasapproved the Scheme. Accordingly, it is anticipated that by 8:00 a.m. on 21December 2006 the Scheme will become effective, the admission of Eureka'sordinary shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled, and Eureka shareholderswill receive shares in Celtic. It is expected that the first day of dealings inthe New Celtic Shares will be 22 December 2006 and share certificates for theNew Celtic Shares will be despatched by 4 January 2007. Terms and expressions used in this announcement shall, unless the contextotherwise requires, have the same meanings as given to them in the Company'sannouncement of 7 November 2006.
