Resignation of Non-Executive Chairman and Director

China Nonferrous Gold Limited 中国有色黄金有限公司 (AIM: CNG), the mineral exploration and development company currently developing the Pakrut gold project (the “Project”) in the Republic of Tajikistan announces the resignation with immediate effect, from the board of the Company of Mr Tao Luo who held the positions of Non-Executive Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Mr. Tao Luo’s resignation follows his retirement as President from China Nonferrous Metals Mining (Group) Corp. (CNMC) and Chairman of China Nonferrous Metals Int'l Mining Co., Ltd (CNMIM), CNG’s largest shareholder.

The board of the Company would like to thank Mr Luo, for his contribution to the development of CNG and the Pakrut gold project, and wishes him well in his retirement.

Project Summary

The Pakrut gold project, of which CNG has 100 per cent ownership, is situated in Tajikistan approximately 120km northeast of the capital city Dushanbe. Pakrut is located within the Tien Shan gold belt, which extends from Uzbekistan into Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Western China, and which hosts a number of multi-million ounce gold deposits.
