Purchase by Employee Share Trust

The Company has been notified that the Braemar Shipping Services plc Employee Share Option Plan (the "ESOP") acquired 6,800 ordinary shares in the Company on 14 July 2008 at a price of 500 pence per share. Accordingly, the ESOP now holds 669,614 ordinary shares in Braemar Shipping Services plc, representing 3.19 per cent. of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
