Placing of New Ordinary Shares

Ramco is pleased to announce that it has raised approximately £1.65m before expenses by way of a placing of 3,579,232 new ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 46p each ("New Ordinary Shares") which was arranged by Ambrian Partners Limited ("the Placing").

The net proceeds of the Placing will be used by the Company to further the development of SeaEnergy Renewables Limited and for general working capital purposes.

Application will be made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on or around 27 April 2009. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares of 10p each in issue. Following completion of the Placing, there will be 50,019,279 ordinary shares of 10p in issue.
