The valuations of the unquoted investments were reviewed by the directors as at 31 August 2015 and any changes in values are reflected in these figures. The value of the investment in Parmenion was adjusted on the 31st August to reflect the purchase price paid by Aberdeen Asset Management plc on its acquisition of 100% of Parmenion as announced on the 4th September 2015. The Parmenion transaction is subject to regulatory approval by the Financial Conduct Authority.
