MelodyVR signs licensing and publishing agreements

MelodyVR enters into licensing agreements with two key partners and renews a multi-territory publishing agreement

EVR Holdings plc (AIM: EVRH), a leading creator of virtual reality entertainment content, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary MelodyVR Ltd ('MelodyVR') has entered into music licensing agreements with independent label group, Beggars Group Digital Limited and independent label Domino Recording Company, as well as renewing their multi-territory deal with ARESA GmbH.

Beggars Group, home of 4AD, Matador, Rough Trade, XL Recordings and Young Turks, represent both emerging and established artists including The National, FKA Twigs, black midi, Jungle, Queens of the Stone Age, Big Thief, The xx, Amyl & The Sniffers, King Krule, Grimes, Interpol, Aldous Harding, Kurt Vile, Kamasi Washington and Radiohead.

Domino Recording Company based in London with operating divisions in the United States as well as across continental Europe represent artists including Arctic Monkeys, Four Tet, Hot Chip, Anna Clavi, Buzzcocks, Franz Ferdinand, Fat White Family, Joe Goddard, Steve Mason, Superorganism, The Last Shadow Puppets.

In August 2017, MelodyVR entered in to an agreement with ARESA GmbH, who represent the copyright catalogues of companies such as Chrysalis, Bug, BMG, Cherry Lane, Famous, Virgin, Stage Three and Evergreen, comprising several hundreds of thousands of works from artists such as Adele, Aerosmith, The Black Eyed Peas, Black Sabbath, Blondie, Bruno Mars, David Bowie, Duffy, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Kings of Leon, Nirvana, One Direction, The Rolling Stones, Ryan Adams and Take That amongst others.
