Mark Wellesley-Wood
The Board of Tristar plc has just learned the shocking news of the passing of Mark Wellesley-Wood. Mark, who served the mining industry with distinction over a lengthy career, and did so as Chairman of our Company until just a few days ago. During his stewardship of Tristar Resources, the Company developed from a start-up, to the completion of the ground-breaking Antimony and Gold roasting project at its principal operating subsidiary in Oman. Mark was a deeply knowledgeable and wise leader.
Our thoughts are with his wife Shona and family at this sad time. We will all miss him enormously.
