JANUARY 2020 TRAFFIC AND CO2 EMISSION STATISTICS

WIZZ AIR GROWS PASSENGER NUMBERS BY 23% TO 3.2MLOAD FACTOR INCREASES BY 2PPTs TO 90%

Geneva, 4 February 2020: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger and CO2 emission statistics for January 2020.

In January 2020, Wizz Air continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering as follows:

·; Wizz Air announced further expansion to Russia by launching four new routes from Pulkovo Airport, Saint Petersburg starting in summer 2020.

·; Route network expansion with the announcement of 18 routes: Albania (5x) Austria (5x), Bulgaria (3x), Hungary (1x), Lithuania (1x), Romania (1x), Slovakia (1x), United Kingdom (1x).

·; Base expansion with an additional Airbus A321 aircraft to its Vienna base from July 2020, taking the base to nine aircraft with five new routes and additional frequencies on existing routes.

·; Wizz Air continuously operates at the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km amongst all competitor airlines. At 58.9 grams, CO2 emissions in grams per passenger/km for the month of January were 0.9% lower than in the same month last year.
