At a Board meeting of Sunrise Diamonds plc held today, 15 August 2008, the Board resolved to issue 2,851,795 new ordinary shares to Tertiary Minerals plc. This is by way of settlement to Tertiary Minerals in respect of its invoice for the three months period to 30 June 2008, in the sum of £24,953.21, which relates to management charges, shared overheads and other costs. The share price agreed is the closing mid market price on 14 August 2008 (0.875p).
This will take the new issued share capital for Sunrise Diamonds to 142,073,589.
Sunrise Diamonds has today been notified by Tertiary Minerals that as a result of the issue of these shares, their total interest in Sunrise will be 25,751,785 ordinary shares being 18.1% of the new issued share capital of 142,073,589.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and this is expected to commence on Thursday 21 August 2008.
