Northern Venture Trust PLC14 March 2005 Northern Venture Trust PLC ("The Company") Issue of Shares The Company announces that on 14 March 2005 it issued and allotted to 57 subscribers an additional 408,311 ordinary shares of 25p each representingapproximately 1.03 per cent of the enlarged issued share capital of theCompany which now consists of 39,798,212 ordinary shares. The new shares wereissued at a price of 95p per share. Application will be made at the earliestpracticable opportunity for these shares, which will rank pari passu withexisting ordinary shares, to be admitted to the Official List of the UK ListingAuthority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listedsecurities.
