Northern Venture Trust PLC15 December 2006 Northern Venture Trust PLC ("The Company") Issue of Shares The Company announces that on 15 December 2006 the Company allotted 342,103ordinary shares of 25p each to shareholders who agreed to subscribe for sharesunder the terms of the Company's Dividend Investment Scheme. The subscriptionprice was 79.7p per share. Following the above allotment, there are 38,968,412ordinary shares in issue and there remain 20,666,773 C shares in issue. Application will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity for theseshares, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admittedto the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the LondonStock Exchange's market for listed securities.
