Xtract Energy plc27 July 2006 Xtract Energy Plc ("the Company") Issue of Equity 27 July 2006 Xtract Energy plc ("the Company") announces that it has allotted 2,000,000Ordinary Shares to Intermin Resources Limited in connection with the assignmentof certain mining tenements as set out in clause 2.6 of its recent admissiondocument. As a result of this allotment, Intermin Resources Limited will hold32,000,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 11.1% of the Company's enlarged issuedshare capital. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Sharesin the Company. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to beadmitted to trading on AIM and this is expected to become effective on 2 August2006.
