Cheerful Scout PLC11 April 2005 Cheerful Scout Plc / Epic: CLS / Index: AIM / Sector: Media 11th April 2005 CHEERFUL SCOUT PLC ('Cheerful' or 'the Company') GOLD AND BRONZE Cheerful Scout Plc, the AIM listed multi media specialist, won both gold andbronze awards at the annual ceremony held by the International VisualCommunication Association ('IVCA'), the professional body for companies usingfilm, video, interactive media and live events as part of the communicationprocess. Attended by leading people from the £3 billion industry, the IVCA awards aredesigned to celebrate the high achievers in the field. Cheerful collected a goldaward in the Events and Public Display category for its work with a leadingmanagement consultancy, and bronze award in the Best Animation and SpecialEffects category for its work with Deloitte. Cheerful has two key divisions: DVD for the retail sector; and corporatecommunications, producing programmes for blue-chip clients. It recently launcheda new product - nVision Presenter - a high-end presentation tool, which deliversreal-time 3D graphics and provides a widescreen platform that brings togetherall manner of visual media on one 'virtual stage'.
