Murgitroyd Group PLC17 February 2005 For immediate release 17 February 2005 Murgitroyd Group PLC ("Murgitroyd" or "the Company") Holdings in Company The Board of Murgitroyd announces that it has received formal notification todayof changes in the interests of the following major shareholders: Henderson Global Investors Limited and its associated companies (acting as agentfor its discretionary clients) now have an interest in 349,497 ordinary sharesrepresenting 4.22% of the current issued share capital. This increased holdingfollows the purchase of 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of170p per share on 16 February 2005. The entire holding of shares is held onbehalf of Strata Investments plc.
