VinaLand Limited (the "Company" or "VNL") was notified on 8 April 2009 that QVT Financial LP, as investment manager for QVT Fund LP, Quintessence Fund L.P. and an account managed for a third party, was interested in 27,018,000 ordinary shares of the Company, which represents 5.4% of the Company's total voting rights.
