Newcourt Group plc25 July 2006 NEWCOURT GROUP PLC ("Newcourt" or "the Company") Holdings in Company 25 July 2006 Newcourt received notification on 25 July 2006 that Gartmore Investment Limited(GIL), Gartmore Fund Managers Limited (GFM) and Gartmore Global Partners (GGP),have increased their notifiable interest in Newcourt by virtue of theacquisition of 1,808,037 ordinary shares at €1.21 per share on 19 July 2006. Following the purchase Gartmore held 5,323,662 ordinary shares which represents6.4% of the issued ordinary share capital of Newcourt.
