Mwana Africa PLC23 May 2007 Mwana Africa plc (the "Company") Holdings in Company London, 23rd May 2007 - The Company was notified on 22 May 2007 that, witheffect from 21 May 2007, the per centage holding of voting rights attaching tothe Company's issued ordinary share capital of Capital Research and ManagementCompany ("CRMC"), through mutual funds under the discretionary investmentmanagement of CRMC, had reduced to 4.99 per cent. Their total holding remains at12,980,000 ordinary shares to which voting rights are attached although,following the recent issue of ordinary shares by the Company in connection withthe Gravity acquisition (as announced by the Company on 21 May 2007), this hasreduced their overall per centage holding to below 5 per cent. of the votingrights attaching to the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
