Mondas PLC19 January 2006 For immediate release 19 January 2006 Mondas plc ("Mondas" or the "Company") Holding in Company On 18 January 2006 the Company was notified that, as at 17 January 2006, AXAInvestment Managers UK Limited, held 3,515,913 Mondas ordinary shares,equivalent to 9.65 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. The Company has also been notified that the shareholding comprises a beneficialinterest of 42,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.12 per cent. of the issuedshare capital of the Company, are held by Sun Life Pensions Management Limitedand a non-beneficial interest of 3,473,913 ordinary shares, representing 9.53per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company, are held by HSBC GlobalCustody Nominees (UK) Limited.
