African Minerals Limited (AIM: AMI), the mineral exploration company with significant interests in Sierra Leone, West Africa, announces that the Company received notification on 17 October 2008 from RAB Capital plc ("RAB") that as of 10 October 2008, RAB has an interest in 18,115,188 common shares of the Company, representing 9.66 per cent of the Company's total issued share capital.
