Sterling Energy Plc has received today, notification from Invesco Limited that its holding in the Company on 14th June 2011 was 39,737,820 Ordinary Shares representing 18.11% of the issued share capital. Prior to the notification, Invesco Limited had previously held 42,158,906 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 19.2 % of the issued share capital.
