Akers Biosciences, Inc. a leading designer and manufacturer of rapid diagnostic screening and testing products, announces that it has been notified of the following interests in the Company.
On 17 March 2009, Brittany Capital notified the Company that it has increased its holding and is now interested in 28,878,954 common shares representing 25.94% of the Company's issued share capital.
On 17 March 2009, Spreadex Limited notified the Company that it was interested in 6,000,000 common shares representing 5.39% of the Company's issued share capital.
On 19 March 2009, John Harvey notified the Company that he was interested in 11,042,000 common shares representing 9.92% of the Company's issued share capital.
