Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') received notification yesterday from Setanta Asset Management Limited of an increase in its shareholding in the Company. Following the acquisition of 1,131,067 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company, Setanta Asset Management Limited is now the holder of 11,965,064 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Origin. This holding represents approximately 9.53% of the Company's issued share capital, excluding treasury shares.
