Grant of Share Options

Animalcare (AIM: ANCR), the supplier of pharmaceutical and other premium products and services to the veterinary industry, announces that on 21th February 2013, Iain Menneer, Chief Executive Officer, was granted 90,000 options (the "Share Options") over ordinary shares with a nominal value of 20 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the Company under the Company's Executive Share Option Scheme. The Share Options will become exercisable on 26th February 2016 at 140.0 pence per Ordinary Share, being the mid-market closing price on 20th February 2013.

Following this grant of options, Iain Menneer holds a total of 265,000 options over Ordinary Shares and has a beneficial interest in 9,381 Ordinary Shares.
