Exercise of Warrants
Motif Bio plc (AIM: MTFB) the clinical stage biopharmaceutical company specialising in developing novel antibiotics announces that it has received notification from warrant holders to exercise warrants over 16,344 ADSs representing 326,880 ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at an exercise price of $8.03 per ADS for total consideration of $131,242.32.
Application has been made for the 326,880 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"), which is expected to occur at 8.00 a.m. on 5 May 2017. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. Following Admission, and for the purposes of the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 196,212,108 Ordinary Shares. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the issued share capital of the Company.
