EN+ GROUP publishes its Sustainability Report for 2019

21 September 2020 - EN+ GROUP IPJSC (the "Company") (LSE: ENPL; MOEX: ENPG) announces that its Sustainability Report for the year ended 31 December 2019 (also the "Report") is available on the Company's website at https://enplusgroup.com/en/sustainability/sustainability-report/.

The Report sets out the Company's commitment to continuously enhance its environmental, social and governance ("ESG") performance, as well as supporting a global shift towards a low-carbon economy, where our low carbon aluminium has a vital role to play in reducing carbon emissions across a diverse range of industries. This material will play a critical role in the recovery of the global economy as leading countries are determined to utilize sustainable solutions for building back better. Adherence to strong ESG standards has never been more important than now, with the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Report reflects key milestones the Company has reached during the reporting period in the field of sustainable development, in our actions taken to strengthen corporate governance, in our commitment to enhance employee safety and in our support for the communities in which we operate. It also highlights areas for further improvement and focus.

The Report, which has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards, aims to provide transparency for all stakeholders and includes in-depth disclosure of non-financial information pertaining to material ESG topics.

The Sustainability Report covers the Company's activities from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019, together with some key activities conducted during the first half of 2020.

Reflecting this goal of greater transparency for stakeholders, for the first time our Sustainability Report has been subject to independent assurance. EY performed independent assurance of the information disclosed in the Report in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000 (Revised).
