SOPHEON PLC ("Sopheon") DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS

Sopheon plc announces that it has granted options over Sopheon Ordinary Shares to certain directors as part of a grant of options to management and staff of the group. The options have been granted at a price of 19p per share, being the closing price on 28 June 2007. As part of this overall grant, Barry Mence, Andrew Michuda and Arif Karimjee, being respectively Sopheon's Chairman, CEO and CFO, have been granted options over 100,000, 250,000 and 100,000 ordinary shares respectively. Vesting of half of the options granted are subject to performance conditions based on the achievement of certain financial objectives in 2007.
