Director's Interest in Shares

On 5 October 2009, Charlemagne Capital Limited ("Charlemagne", the "Company"), was notified that, as a result of a reorganisation of the assets of a trust, a company connected with James Mellon, a non-executive Director of the Company, became interested in a further 150,000 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each. 

As a result of this reorganisation, James Mellon and entities connected with him now have interests in 55,669,497 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each or 19.82% of the total number of Ordinary Shares of US$ 0.01 each in issue.
