Real Estate Investors PLC04 July 2005 Real Estate Investors PLC ("REI" or the "Company") Dealings in REI Shares REI announces that on 1 July 2005 the following transactions in the Company'sordinary 1p shares took place: - Peter Lewin, Chief Executive, acquired 1,250,000 ordinary shares at10.5p per share. Mr Lewin's total beneficial shareholding is now 6,250,000ordinary shares representing 15.09% of the Company's share capital. Mr Lewin'sinterests are held by himself and Denton & Co Trustees Limited as trustees ofThe Lewin Retirement Scheme of which Mr Lewin is the sole beneficiary. - Naroti Resources SA acquired 1,250,000 ordinary shares. NarotiResources SA now holds 3,750,000 ordinary shares representing 9.05% of theCompany's share capital. - Ponthall Securities Limited disposed of 2,500,000 ordinary shares andno longer has a notifiable interest in the share capital of the Company.
