Fairpoint Group plc (FRP: AIM) ("the Company") has today been informed that on 6 October 2014 David Harrel, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 135.5p per Ordinary Share. Following this acquisition David Harrel is interested in 68,450 Ordinary Shares representing 0.15% of the Company's current issued share capital.
