Notification of transactions of persons discharging managerial responsibility
As announced on 27 July 2021, the following Directors of Ascential plc (LSE: ASCL.L) subscribed for the following numbers of ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") as part of the placing (the "Placing"):

Additionally, on 26 July 2021 Duncan Painter granted security in favour of JP Morgan Bank Luxembourg S.A. over 3,789,271 ordinary shares in the Company which he beneficially owns. Duncan Painter's interests in ordinary shares did not change as a result of the granting of this security.
