On 12 January 2015 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 8 January 2015 Sir Adrian Montague, the Chairman of the Board (and a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities), acquired 1,151 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of 431.93p per Share. These Shares were acquired under a dividend reinvestment plan following payment of the Company's interim dividend.

The place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
