Northern Bear announces that it has received notification that Ian McLean, Non-Executive Director of the Company, yesterday purchased 28,572 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") at a price of 31.5 pence per share, (the "Transaction").

Following the Transaction Mr. McLean is now interested in 100,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.54 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
