Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has today been informed by Mr Kenneth Rooney, Chief Executive that on 24 October 2007 a total of 732 Ordinary Shares of 5p each were purchased, at a price of 290.0 pence per on his behalf under a dividend reinvestment programme operated by the Company's registrars.

Following this transaction, Mr Rooney is interested in 159,898 shares, representing 0.52% of the total shares in issue.
