Laura Ashley Holdings plc ("the Company") received notification on 16 January 2009 from Ms Lillian Tan, Chief Executive Officer and shareholder of the Company that on 16 January 2009 she purchased 250,000 of the Company's ordinary shares of £0.05 each at an average price of £0.10 per share increasing her total shareholding to 350,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.05% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares).
