Persimmon plc ("the Company") announces that on 1 December 2014 it was informed that on that same day Jeff Fairburn, Group Chief Executive and Mike Killoran, Group Finance Director exercised the following options to purchase shares under the Persimmon Plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme 1998.

As a result of these transactions, Jeff Fairburn and his wife's interest increased to 141,712 shares or 0.05% of the issued share capital and Mike Killoran and his wife's interest in the Company's shares increased to 639,165 shares or 0.21% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The issued share capital of the Company on 1 December 2014 is 306,340,777 ordinary shares.
