Oxus Gold Plc ("Oxus"or the "Company") (OXS.L) announces that on 10 October 2008, it was notified that on the 9th and 10th October 2008 Mr Richard Shead, a non executive Director of the Company, purchased 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company of 1p each at 8p per share.
Following the purchase, Mr Shead owns 200,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.05% of the share capital.
As of 10 October 2008, the total issued share capital of the Company is 381,439,685 ordinary shares.
