Director's share purchase

On 2 September 2010 Peter Johnson, a director and the chairman of The Rank Group Plc ("Rank"), notified Rank (under the obligations imposed by paragraph DTR 3.1.2 R of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that, on 1 September 2010, he purchased 8,926 ordinary 13 8/9p shares in Rank at a price of 113.37p per share, thereby increasing his notifiable beneficial share interest to 57,260 ordinary shares, representing 0.01% of the total number of shares currently in issue.
