9 May 2007 Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has today been informed by Mr Kenneth Rooney, Chief Executive that on 8 May 2007 his SIPP purchased 23,008 Ordinary Shares of 5p each, representing 0.08% of the issued share capital of the Company, at a price of 315 pence per ordinary share.

Following this transaction, Mr Rooney is interested in 128,944 shares, representing 0.42% of the total shares in issue.
