Northgate PLC25 August 2005 For immediate release 25 August 2005 Northgate PLC Changes to Directorate Responsibilities Northgate PLC ("Northgate" or the "Company"), the UK's leading specialist inlight commercial vehicle hire, announces that following the statement on 8August 2005 announcing the completion of the acquisition of the initial 49 percent of the issued share capital of Record Rent a Car S.A. ("Record Rent"), JanAstrand, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has been appointed to theboard of Record Rent. Jan will continue to sit on the board of Fualsa,Northgate's existing wholly owned Spanish subsidiary. Steve Smith and GedMurray have also been appointed to the board of Record Rent.
