Executive Director Appointment

SOCO is pleased to announce that Ms Cynthia Cagle has been appointed an Executive Director of the Company and joins the Board with immediate effect.

Ms Cagle joined the Company at its founding in 1997 and holds the position of Group Company Secretary and Vice-President-Finance.

Ms Cagle currently holds 3,139,439 SOCO shares, representing 0.95% of the issued share capital of the Company and 597,100 options to acquire SOCO shares under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan ("Options").

Ms Cagle is a connected party to Mr Roger Cagle, an Executive Director of the Company. Jointly they are interested in 8,617,916 SOCO shares, representing 2.60% of the issued share capital of the Company, and 1,472,900 Options.

The Company confirms that there are no additional matters requiring disclosure under Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
