Dublin/London, 4 September 2018: Cairn Homes plc (LSE/ISE: CRN) ("Cairn", "the Company", or "the Group"), the Irish homebuilding company, today announces that the Group's co-founder, Alan McIntosh, has decided to step down from his executive role and will move to a non-executive Director role on the Board.

Executive Change

Alan McIntosh, Executive director, who in 2014 co-founded Cairn Homes, is moving to a non-executive Director role with the Company. Following the successful IPO of Cairn in June 2015, Alan has been a core member of the executive team, playing a key role in the development of the Group's strategy and, in particular, driving initiatives in capital markets, banking and finance. Alan has significantly contributed towards building a company that is now considerably scaled, has a market capitalisation of €1.2 billion and is a constituent member of the ISEQ 20. Alan has decided this is an appropriate time to step down from his executive role and, as a non-executive Director, will remain committed to the business.

CEO, Michael Stanley, commented:

"I would like to record my sincere appreciation and gratitude for Alan's entrepreneurial vision and immense contribution to the creation and subsequent development of Cairn. Alan will remain on the Board as a non-executive Director to continue to contribute to the development of our Company over the coming years and to provide valuable support to the Board and the executive team."
