Board Change
Swansea based Pure Wafer plc, the provider of high quality silicon wafer reclaim services for many of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jerry Winters to the Board as an executive director, with immediate effect.
Jerry, aged 51, has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of San Francisco and has 31 years experience in the Semiconductor Materials and IC industry. He started his career with Fairchild's Semiconductor in 1978 and during his 9 years with that company, held positions in both Engineering and Operations Management. In 1987 Jerry joined the Laporte/Rockwood Specialties group where he was Global Operations Manager of their US and European silicon wafer reclaim operations. In 1997 Jerry relocated to Prescott, Arizona where he oversaw the design, construction and start up of the Prescott site. In 2007 he joined the Pure Wafer organisation following the acquisition of Exsil from Rockwood Specialties, where he was an officer of Exsil.
