Directorate Change

RIT Capital Partners plc announces the following change to the Board, effective 20 July 2017:

Philippe Costeletos has been appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Mr Costeletos has over 25 years' experience in private investments, including being Head of TPG Capital in Europe and Chairman of International for Colony Northstar.

Additional disclosures relating to Mr. Costeletos, pursuant to the UKLA Listing Rules and Disclosure and Transparency Rules:

1. Mr Costeletos is not currently a director of any other publicly quoted companies.

2. Mr Costeletos has no beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of the Company.

3. On 18 January 2017, a partnership of which Mr Costeletos is a member, DMC Partners (UK) LLP, was placed into members voluntary liquidation.

4. There is no further information requiring disclosure under paragraphs 9.6.13 R (2) to (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
