Wren Homes Group PLC18 April 2008 21 April 2008 Wren Homes Group plc (WHG/L) ("Wren Homes") Appointment of Director Wren Homes is pleased to announce the appointment of David Slade as anon-executive director with immediate effect. David Nathaniel Slade, aged 53, has a track record in property investment anddevelopment and he is currently interested in 3,867,208 ordinary shares in theCompany, representing 9.56% of the issued share capital. As Wren Homes stated on11 April 2008, the Company regards David Slade's investment as a significantvote of confidence and hopes to benefit from his experience in seeking out newopportunities. David Slade is currently a director of City Centre Holdings SA, which is engagedin property investment and development in Europe and of Vertical Holdings plc, aformer OFEX listed company, which is now a non-trading "shell". Over the previous five years, David Slade was a director of Financial & GeneralTrust Limited, Romford Leisure Properties Limited and Bardo Limited. In 1990/91,he was a director of Slade Holdings plc, of which he was also the controllingshareholder, engaged in jewellery manufacturing and distribution, which wasplaced in receivership as a result of difficult market conditions.
