Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Filtronic plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Brennan as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1st September. He will replace Stephen Mole, who will step down at the end of September.

Mike Brennan, 49, was previously Finance Director of GTL Resources plc, an AIM listed company with operations in the USA. Earlier in his career he held a number of financial roles with Petroplus Refining Teesside Limited (formerly Phillips-Imperial Petroleum Limited) and various ICI businesses.

There are no other details to be disclosed according to paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the UK Listing Rules.
