Change of directors' roles

Morgan Sindall plc announces that Jon Walden has assumed responsibility as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the audit committee of the Company. He replaces Bernard Asher, who remains a non-executive director and member of the audit committee.

Jon Walden has been an independent non-executive director of the Company since May 2001 and also sits on the remuneration and nominations committees. He is currently managing director of Lex Vehicle Leasing Limited and was formerly a director of RAC plc, having previously held various roles within RAC and Rank Xerox. Jon qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross (now Deloitte & Touche LLP).
